In this section pupils will learn how to transfer mathematical skills across the curriculum in a variety of contexts and everyday situations. Pupils will learn how to identify processes and connections, represent and communicate using numercay and review their work.


Pupils will learn how to use number skills to use number facts and relationships; use fractions, decimals, percentages and ratio; calculate using mental and written methods; estimate and check; and manage money.


Pupils will learn how to use measuring skills to find out the length, weight/mass and capacity of objects. Pupils will also use time, temperature and area and volume.


Pupils will learn how do use data skills to collect and record data, present and analyse data and interpret results effectively.
